“ This place was so beautiful on the inside and a great selection of drafts! Staff was super friendly and we loved drinking beer on their nice leather couches inside ”
“ I came here two weeks ago without realizing that the fat orange cat brewing, no longer had a storefront, but I was happily surprised by the presence of 12 beer project. This absolutely gorgeous place offers multiple breweries on tap from the area and combined with the out for seating and gorgeous indoor experience, makes for an awesome place to come and hang out my wife enjoyed the beer that she got, but I was also surprised to find out that a local soda place Foxon Park produces in bottles drinks and sells it in the area which was a nice treat. The bartenders were both super nice and brought a really cool energy to the place. If Im ever in this area again, I will definitely check this place out again. ”
“ This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Twelve Percent several times before and my experience was consistently high all the times. This is a contract brewery, so in fact it serves beers from multiple smaller brewers. The brewery occupies a big separate building. It has a huge indoor space with no separation and a patio. There are multiple seating options inside the building including couches. No food is served, but the food trucks are usually onsite. They also have many different events in the brewery including rare ones like Homebrewer competition. The space might become a little crowded in the evening and you might encounter a limited seating. The beers in this brewery are simply amazing. Everything I tried during my visits was exceptional. Plus I love Imperial stouts and not many breweries bother to brew them, but you can always find them here. Its hard to recommend anything specific as it is safe to just grab anything, but I particularly enjoyed Neils French Toast Donut Stout Imperial Stout from Front Porch due to its rich and complex taste of a coffee donut. Beer flights are not served, but you can order a short pour of 6oz to try more beers. I do recommend this place to anyone who loves good beer. ”
“ Finally made it here! Ive had several beers brewed from this brewery. All of them have been great. What a cool spot, industrial chic meets great beer. Comfy couches and several other types of seating including outdoor on the porch no glass outside. Friendly beertenders and good prices. A decent selection of beer to go as well. Look for the arrow pointing left, its back around the rear of the building. Ill be back. ”
“ Some of the finest beer in CT. Im close to an hour away and its well worth the trip. They have a great selection of styles. The bartenders are always on point with describing the beers to your liking. Huge perk of the food truck outside. Never had an issue parking. Plenty of it. The inside space is very roomy. You dont feel like youre squeezed in. Lots of good sitting options. You could chill out on a couch or you can hang at the table top with a crew of your friends or family. Or send at a regular table and enjoy the ambience of 12. Be sure to take a look at what cans they are selling. Sometimes you can find a gem thats not on tap. They also have an outside area. Its always best to get to this brewery early. Less of a rush, more of the tasty beer. Cheers! ”
“ Its definitely a hidden gem in Connecticut. Its spacious inside with high ceilings. The craft beers were very tasty. Although it does not offer food, I saw people brought their own food there to eat. The bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me a bunch of beer to test before I decided which one I wanted. Its dog and kids friendly. ”
“ Hidden in the back of the building behind UPS and FedEx you will find this bright and clean brewery. Featuring many different brands with anywhere from 8 to 20 on tap most times, seriously there is something here for everyone. Even frozen slushies! They contract brew with some popular name like Evil Twin, Marlow as well as Fat Orange Cat. This place is pet friendly with comfortable seating and a friendly staff. Worth your time to check out. Plenty of events too. ”
